He is working on : Political and Religious Process in the Arab world; Sexual Symbolism; Trauma, Memory and History of Political Violence. He is the author of Le pouvoir de guérir. Mythe, mystique et politique au Maroc (2014, Leiden/Boston: Brill). He has also published numerous articles in International Journals (i.e. L’Homme, Archives de Sciences Sociales des Religions, Anthropologica, al-Mustaqbal al-Arabi) and in edited books (i.e. In Genealogy and Knowledge in Muslim Societies, Edinburg: EUP (2014); In Pratiquer les Sciences Sociales au Maghreb.
